Tree Easy Steps to Clean the Pump
Step 1. Remove the pump cover.
Step 2. Remove the Impeller cap by placing your fingernail underneath the small lip.
Step 3. Remove the Impeller and clean the parts with soap and warm water.
Note: Please clean the pump every week, and don't let the pump boil dry.
Important Reminders:
- Indoor use only! Running by electricity, suggest DC 5V 1A Adapter.
- Please clean the cat fountain tank, pump impeller and filter every week!
- According to the drinking frequency and pets number, replace the filter every 1 to 4 weeks.
- Less Water, More Noise. Sometimes loud fountains are consequence of a low water level or a dirty impeller.
- Make sure the filter is SOAKED thoroughly(the water needs to flow through it), otherwise it will just spill over.
- If pet refuses to use the water fountain, make pet familiar with it firstly(leave the previous water source next to the new for a while). When pet gets used to the new, you can remove the old.

Great Fountain, working perfectly, was the best gift that the August has ever won, now she will never need to be asking us to turn on the taps for her to drink water.
Pet drinker is great. The motion sensor is sensitive enough. We have already bought a second piece. Cleaning the device requires a bit of work and you also need to buy replacement filters. But that's not a problem. We like to do it for our cat.
